Two families who hosted this summer will arrive in Ukraine over the next two weeks - amazing. We can't wait to get these kids home. Our friends the LIghtner's are adopting Vadim, one of Anastasia's very good friends in the orphanage and one of our favorites. God has definitely protected his precious little heart. Given his experiences in his short little life it is amazing that he is so caring and loving. We've posted a link to their site to the right. You can read about Vadim and their journey to bring him home.
Vadim is also a favorite of our host daughter, Sasha, We received SEVEN letters from her yesterday. Here's part of one letter, "I'm so glad you are coming to Ukraine. I also wanted to ask if Vadim's parents are coming as well. Vadim needs supervision and I am helping him with that." What a sweet precious little girl. That is one thing that we noticed about these kids - they are so caring toward one another (for the most part!) We can't wait till they are here so we can help them as they care for one another.
In all six families from the hosting group hope to travel within the next 4 months. All dossiers are FINISHED - woohoo. Another local family and good friends of ours are in process of completing their dossier. They will be adopting the 2 kids they hosted plus the little sister who was too young to travel this summer!

That is hilarious that Vadim needs "some supervision"! What a crack up!
