DAY 2

Spent whole day with Nastia. Met her at 1 PM for McDonalds. Hung out on grounds of orphange with lots of other kids. Grandma showed up - kinda scary. Long story - lots of conversation that we couldn't understand but bottom line - Nastia went to spend night with Grandma - we drove her there. Went into Grandma's apartment. She took one of her neddlepoint picture off the wall -tore the back off of it - which scared me cause didn't know what she was doing - and gave it to me. She had a bunch of mushrooms that she had picked all over the floor and wanted us to eat them - Yuri said, "Let's go have pizza!" THANK YOU YURI!! BUt she sent me home with EIGHT bottles of mushrooms that she had canned!!! She referred to us as Nastia's Mamma and Papa - a good sign - and asked where she needed to sign so we could take her home. They then came back to our apartment - hung out for a while. Grandma told us all her favorite stuff. They left around 7:30 - Yuri took them home. He is picking us up at 8:30 to go pick Grandma and Nastia up to spend day with them. Grandma says we are sent from God to take care of her Nastia!! Hmmm - we thought Nastia was sent by God to US!!

She is something. KNows how to use the computer - and has her own mind. WHich is okay - cause a few more weeks here and we may loose ours!!!!

So all is very good. We miss Rachel, Wesley and Carter a ton - can't wait to have all the kidss under one roof!!
