Thanks for your continued prayers - and funny emails. Things are going well.
There are pics of us at the orphanage with some of her friends on day two. Her "dorm"" is in background. ALso picture of her and Mark is them playing "thumb wars! Also have included pictures of Grandma - I got a big ole kiss on the lips yesterday!!! So all is good with babushka!!
We picked them up at 9 AM yesterday and went to Yuri's country home. Yuris father was there as well as Yuri's wife - Natasha. We had lunch AND dinner there - stayed till after 9 PM so serious bonding went on! We made some flowers out of tissue paper - she thought that was fun. Mark about pulled his back out throwing her in the air - she thought that was fun too - not sure how fun Mark thought it was!!
Last night grandma told us that when she left orphanage on Friday, she had packed up all of her belongings as she had decided that she was not going back to orphanage!!! Like I said before - she has a mind of her own. Too bad she doesn't really have a say in that. Grandma does not have guardianship - orphanage does.
Also found out that on the day we were supposed to have our appointment at NAC - AUG 22 - Nastia was in Italy. If we had gone to NAC on that day, we would have been told that she was in Italy so would have selected another child - hmm,
guess God does know what he is doing - not that i EVER doubted!! Lots of other signs that God has been in this. All kinds of amazing things.
Nastia will go back to orphanage this evening - which will probably not be a pretty sight - she's got her pout down real good!! The orphanage director is a bit of a problem - she may try to slow things down - but she can't stop it - just can aggravate us in the process. Please pray for a quick court date so we can get home to our other three babies. We are thankful taht Rachel came home this weekend to be with the boys. Also thankful to everyone for feeding, loving
and transporting them in our absence.
Gotta go get ready to pick up Nastia and Babushka!!!
Love - Kim and Mark
