We received an email from Grandma and Anastasia today. It was very sweet - our first communication from them. Someone in their apartment has internet access. Nastya said she's anxious to sleep in her beautiful new bedroom (we sent pictures) and is "bored for us!" They are anxious about when the court will be - Grandma says she'll be calm when we are finally all together. Their note was a great way to start the day. Then we headed down for Rachel's sorority parent's weekend. Here is Rachel holding some goodies to send to Nastya.
If you would like to pray specifically, please pray for Anastasia as she waits and Grandma as she continues to keep Anastasia on the weekends. Please pray that the orphanage staff would be sensitive to Anastasia as this drags on. Please pray that we would get a court date sooner rather than later and for Yuri as he deals with the judge and court personnel.
Hab: 2:3 These things won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day.
