Still Waiting

We haven't been very good bloggers. While we were in Ukraine we were told that we should be very careful about what we post - so we ended up not posting much of anything. We've been home for two weeks and are loving being with our 3 kids here. We have settled into our routine, but it seems weird not having Anastasia here with us. Our facilitator was to visit her this weekend and deliver packages that we had mailed. We have not yet heard how that went. After totally falling in love with her and truly believing that she is ours - it is difficult to have no contact. The court system in Ukraine is still working to figure out how to operate within the parameters of this new law. We have been told that our facilitator will go to our preliminary hearing on Oct. 14 on our behalf. He is still hopeful that we will have our court date on Oct. 18 - but that is still not a definite. We certainly want to have a bit more certainty about this before we make another big trip "across the pond." We can't wait for you all to meet her. She is something else. Precious, spunky, funny, adorable, . . . we could go on and on. The events leading up to us meeting her were miraculous. There were several steps along the way that should have derailed the whole thing, or led us down another path - but God kept dragging us to her - and we are sure grateful that He did. Thanks for your continued prayers.
Kim and Mark
