Here are her brothers with her new pink bike! Well, Mark finally got to talk to Anastasia today. We called our facilitator while he was at Grandma's explaining the delay in the court. Grandma told us, "don't be much nervous." Mark talked to Anastasia, then had Yuri Interpret and asked if she had any questions. Her only question after hearing all this news was,"If I come in December will the weather still be okay for me to ride my bike.!" She had her backpack with her that we gave her and she has been keeping all the pictures we have sent her in it! We wanted to make sure that she got the last package that we sent her and Yuri laughed after talking to Grandma and said that it was received and she was wearing some of the underwear that we had sent!
We continue to be just a tad - yeah right - frustrated by the whole process. Everyone has signed off on this but we can not get a court date due to the bureaucratic mess. So we continue to wait, but also check to make sure that we are doing everything we can to get our girl home. God has brought us this far - we pray that He moves some mountains - or whatever needs to be moved - to get our sweet little thing here. We are now sending daily letters to her as this has drug on for so long. Grandma says someone in her apartment has internet access so they are going to try to email us - we'll see. We have talked to the principal in our elementary school. He has been great and they are ready for her. She will be in 4th grade. Thanks for your continued prayers. We can not wait for you to meet her.
