Well - can't say we're surprised, we are very disappointed, but not surprised. Our facilitator told us today that he met with judge and we will have preliminary hearing tomorrow. He will go with our power of attorney. But the court in our daughter's region still has not appointed the representatives/jury that must sit in on all civil hearings so they are still not hearing cases. And they haven't heard any civil cases since September 1. We have lots we could say - but probably better not! So we have no clue when we will have our final court date. We are thankful that we are waiting it out in our own home with our three kids here, but it's hard knowing that she was expecting us to be there on Monday - and now we won't be. There is no point in going over with no court date as we may have to wait weeks or months. There are many families stranded in the Ukraine, afraid to leave thinking they may get their day in court soon. Some have been there for months, with no known end date in sight. Pray for them, as their frustration level is reaching some all time highs. So we'll keep switching our airline tickets, enjoy our time here with the kids and hope we get back to Kiev soon. Anastasia continues to spend weekends with Grandma. We'll keep you posted.
