Alena, the mom in town from Ukraine, called Grandma and Anastasia today. All Anastasia wanted to do was talk to Alena's 10 year old son, Vlad - but Vlad wasn't much in a talking mood today!! Grandma said they are doing well, and have not heard from our facilitator this week. He was supposed to go to talk to judge on Monday - but neither Grandma or us have heard from him. Here is another picture of the orphanage. There is a "skywalk" that attaches the dorms to the main building that houses the offices, school and cafeteria. Even though it's not heated, it's a nicer walk using this in snowing or rainy weather. Also included here are pictures of the playground at her orphanage.
