Here are some pictures of kids from the orphanage. There are 100 kids there. The two girls are her roommates. During our loooooong time in Ukraine, we became particularly attached to Sasha (in pink) she is precious - 12 years old!! It's going to be very difficult to say good-bye to her. Also pictured are a couple of the little guys at her orphanage. The guy on the right often had treats that he wanted to share with us!! There are so many adorable older children in Ukraine!Grandmother sent us a list of the things she cooks for Anastasia - cute - like she is preparing us! Okasana, who rents a bedroom from Grandmother (this is real common in Ukraine) gave Anastasia a Harry Potter book (in Russian I assume) and Anastasia has read it all. Anastasia is looking forward to the "Day of Sacred Nikolay" as they get gifts at the orphanage. They celebrate Christmas on January 7. Mark did call our facilitator as we had not heard anything from anyone for weeks - he said everything was "fine." Hmmm, not sure what that means. We'll be booking new airline tickets soon, as our old tickets have expired. Kids are continuing to come home from Ukraine which is extremely encouraging. There are still many families in Ukraine wrapping up their adoptions - including our buddies adopting Sophia - let's pray they wrap them up quickly and get their new additions home from Christmas!
