It So Long!!!

Received emails from Grandma and Anastasia today. Grandma said she tells Anastasia it is only FOUR MORE weeks until we come - but Anastasia says, "IT SO LONG!!" Yeah, we hear ya! Grandma will get her out of orphanage on Dec. 23 and they will travel to Grandma's relatives for Christmas. Anastasia will go back to orphanage on January 10 - so that's not that many more days in the orphanage. We sent Anastasia an activity booklet that tells the story of Christmas. She said that Oksana has been translating it for her - A calls it the "history of Jesus" but she says they aren't finished with it yet. We really don't know much about her faith. That's a pretty complex thing to talk about with the language barrier. Grandma did tell us that we were sent to God to take care of Anastasia and she tells us that she asks God to take care of us. Rachel has finals this week - organic chemistry, bio, bio lab . . . doesn't sound like much fun to us. She'll be home on Friday - woohoo!!
