Hey - had a great day with our interpreter, Victoria - we saw some more sights in Kiev. Just had dinner with our new best friends, Kirstin and Boyd from Iowa! Getting dark so need to get home. Kids will be calling us in our apartment soon. You can not even imagine how much your notes mean to us. Hopefully we will have good news on Friday - national holiday tomorrow, so we will not have anything new to report before then. Used our washer today washed our jeans - that was real exciting. Boyd and Kirsten found an american book store - we'll save that for tomorrow. Please pray for Boyd and Kirstin too - they have been here 2 1/2 weeks. First appointment did not work out. Our kids start school tomorrow!!!!

What you are doing is so incredibly wonderful though the long days and nights being away from your family is so hard. My dear husband is sputtering about why the heck doesn't that government just meet with you. Heck they know you are there, why not this or that? Can you hear him from all these miles??? We will keep you guys in our prayers and get some dinners to your kids this week. I will give Grandma a call and see how the "boys' club" is going. One very special little girl is coming home with you. We will pray for your friends also. Arica showed me the photo of a little girl from the Ukraine that was adopted by a family in Fl. last year. She is beautiful. Any ideas of what you hope to name her or will it be some combination of what her name is now and whatever you had planned? My dearest friend ever is from the Ukraine and her name is Nadia. It is good that you decided to pick a girl. YOu might have had Otto Botto join the group! WE will check back with you and will keep on praying. What is the time difference?

this is the first time I have ever posted to a blog site! My trusty sidekick and computer whiz, Allie is by my side. We saw the photo of Anastasia Fri when bringing C. hm. Allie is so excited at the possibility of a new friend that is the same age on our street. She and all of us are praying that it all works out, and you bring your new daughter home soon.
