Went to concert of Ukrainian men's choir last night with Yuri =- he's the executive director - or something like that - he's in charge. He suggested we go buy a gift for ANastasia - "something to reach her heart!" He said we willjust be trying to "builda realtion" with her. It's weird to think she will
be checking us out!
Yuri suggested we get her a doll - which we will, but if she's anything like our girl Rachel - that will not get to her heart. So we're going to play it safe and get a soccer ball or something like that too.
Some have asked about grandma - we will probably meet her. Depends on how things go tomorrow and what the director says. We dont' know how involved grandma has been in recent history.
BOyd and Kirsten had appointment at 9:45 this AM - haven't heard from them yet. For those ofyou who asked - they have a 6 yr old daughter and have had numerous fertility issues. They are hoping for a little girl.
Well - that's it from Kiev. OUr favorite little bakery had chocolate crossiants in the oven when we walked by - so going to go check that out - we do have our priorities.
PRay for little Anastasia tomorrow. SHe is thinking tomorrow will be a big day anyway cause it's her first day of school - she doesn't even have a clue!
Thanks for continuing to take care of our boys. Happy belated birthday to my teletubbie lovin' nephew - LUKE!!!!
Love,
Kim and Mark
