hey - had fun day yesterday - our interpreter, Victoria, walked us a TON yesterday. Walked for THREE STRAIGHT HOURS seeing all the sights in Kiev. We finished up with lunch - at 4 PM - at a Ukrainian cafeteria. HMMM - all I can say is I'm glad that my sister Leta packed me lots of snacks and we're glad we've found a Fridays. Beautiful, safe city. Lots of history - guess that's cause it's so old - duh! Still no word on the appointment - which is a tad frustrating - but when in Ukraine - you wait on your appointment. We plan to meet to American couples at Fridays tonight - yes, our little band is growing. We've heard so many stories about people's appointments being delayed, then once they get to the NAC, their child has just come of the registery - which means just became available for adoption, so we are trusting that it's just not our time yet - but we can't stay here indefinitely. Tomorrow is national holiday - their 4th of July - so nothing will happen at NAC tomorrow. Rachel came home from college yesterday and the boys loved that - did some more furniture moving at home! Thanks again for your prayers - what we need now is patience and an appointment. Also, please pray for our kiddos as they start school - all three of them - tomorrow!

Glad to hear from you today--sounds like another patience lesson. How great that you have this time to be immersed in your child's culture. We continue to pray for you. Remember--"I know the plans I have for you . . ."!

Hab: 2:3 These things won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day.
Hang in there Kim & Mark. It's got to be frustrating, but soon, you will have another Botto.
Continued prayers from us.
