STILL counting!!!

Hey - we're still here and aren't too frozen. Apparently there was some misunderstanding on how you count to 10 over here - so the 10 days is up in about 10 minutes. So we're picking up decree first thing in morning, then will try to get birth certificate and passport tomorrow. Yuri has been running around ALL DAY today getting stuff done. He was able to get copies of the decree so he could get the translation started. We'll sleep better once we have that. SO just one more night - we're hoping. Anastasia has a cold - she was very subdued today and pretty much just wanted to cuddle. WE should be able to pick her up tomorrow or Saturday. Yuri is thinking we'll be able to do it tomorrow - but we told her it might be Saturday. I think she'll believe it when she's actually in her new PJ's in our apartment!! So not much news. Hopefully tomorrow will be a busy day - getting lots of stuff done. WE changed our tickets to arrive home on Wednesday morning - may have to change them again, but should be home by end of next week - HALLELUJAH! This has been an amazing journey. And this wait has made her (and us too) so very ready! For those of you waiting to come over here. Word here is that the president still hasn't signed the bill to give NAC temporary authority. The couples that are here are being told that maybe end of next week they may get an appointment. But our pal Jennifer has been here 30+ days and has been told that a couple of times . . .

Thanks for your continued prayers. Hopefully by the next time we post she'll be sitting here on my lap! Can't wait to have all four of our kiddos tucked in under one roof!!! Thanks for your continued prayers.

I'm enjoying your updates and am glad to hear that things are progressing. I went back to work today...been home a week now. So, Zoe has been officially introduced to Crossroads. I'm sure you can't wait for Anastasia to do the
same. Soon!!!

Thanks for the continued blogs...you guys are so good at painting a picture for us through your words and photos. What a journey it has been...we are so glad that you are nearing the end of it, and that the three of you are coming home! Last night before bedtime stories, I got the globe out and showed the girls where Ukraine is, and that you all would be flying back home soon. Katie, with her five-year-old's perspective about geography, asked if it is a longer trip than the one to Disney World! Please know that our prayers (and woo-hoos...you've really turned me on to that expression, Kim!) will continue to be with you as you make your long-awaited journey home. We can't wait to meet Anastasia!

Love,
The Bueckers
