Had a good visit today. She skipped lunch and was waiting with her coat, hat and the book and markers we gave her yesterday. Sorry to say she didn't get to use her coat and hat as we never left the orphanage. We had posted a while ago that many of her things got stolen that we had sent. But she's had her watch that we gave her on her birthday and the boots we sent her from US on EVERY minute we've been with her!! They'd have to wrestle her down to get those - and she may be little, but she's a feisty one! She had done a bunch of drawings in her book. One had a picture of the orphanage gate and a picture of a house with the date - January 27, 2006. Yuri had told her this would be the day we would pick her up from the orphanage. She had also written her new FULL Name several times in the book - as well as all SIX of our names. We just hung out today. Played some games, ate a granola bar . . . She is so much more relaxed - smiles all the time and is fine with the kids hanging out with us. Meeting Jennifer and her mom from Texas at Fridays - THANK YOU GOD that this is coming to an end here in Ukraine. It's been one heck of a journey and we are so thankful that He is in control. Thanks for your notes - we're still having some email difficulties - it's just real slow to send anything so we're sending to our 3 back home!! Later!!! Thanks for checking on us!

Hey Guys,
Sounds like things are going so much better this time. Hallelujah. So are the 10 days down to 9..8 where are we on the official countdown?
Saw Wes at Dixie Chilie after church. (wonder what the Ukranians would think of Dixie Chilie)
Hang in there!!!! I am glad you are still able to blog!!!!

Hurray for all! I am so glad that court went so well, and the tough part is finally done. Relax and enjoy the time you have left before returning home. Since you have some time, it might be nice to do some shopping and pick up some Ukrainian things to give to your daughter over the years that are from her native country, like on birthdays, etc..
Enjoy!!
Leslie
